In late October, a team of ten Canadian pastors traveled to Thailand to participate in the 2025 Asia Summit—a gathering filled with powerful worship, dynamic preaching, and meaningful fellowship. When the summit concluded, each pastor was commissioned to visit a different Victory nation to encourage local leaders and strengthen ongoing ministry efforts. Pastor Dave felt led to travel to Pakistan for the first time, arriving in Lahore where he was warmly welcomed by Pastor Peter, the apostolic overseer for Victory Churches in the nation.

The ministry schedule began immediately with a national conference for pastors and leaders, followed by visits to several of the more than 30 Victory churches across Pakistan. Pastor Dave also toured Christian schools and witnessed the remarkable dedication of believers living in a country where Christians represent only 1.4% of the population. Despite cultural pressure and, at times, real danger, the Pakistani church continues to stand strong. Every service he attended was filled beyond capacity—so full that chairs were removed to make room for more people. In some congregations, ushers carried both offering plates and AK‑47s to ensure safety, a vivid reminder of the challenges faced by Christians in the region.

Throughout his visit, Pastor Dave was deeply moved by the courage, passion, and perseverance of Pastor Peter and his team. Their unwavering commitment to the Gospel, even in difficult circumstances, serves as a powerful testimony of faith in action. Pastor Dave extends heartfelt thanks to every supporter whose prayers and generosity make this global mission work possible.
