World Changers and History Makers

"These who have turned the world upside down have come here too." - Acts 17:6

Five things that are true about this kind of world changers.

1. They know who they are in Christ.

• "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new." - 2 Cor 5:17
• "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me." - Gal 2:20
• "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." - 1John 4:4.

2. They know what their message is:

• "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes." - Rom 1:16
• "And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them confirming His word with the accompanying signs." - Mark 16:20

3. They know what their mission is:

• "...to turn unbelievers from darkness to light from the power of Satan unto God." - Acts 26:19
• "The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." - Luke 19:10

4. They are bold and uncompromising

• "And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness." - Acts 4:31

5. They are willing to suffer and sacrifice for what they believe.

• "For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain." - Phil 1:21
